Accessibility at the Rubin Museum

The Rubin Museum of Art welcomes all visitors. In addition to meeting the standards of physical accessibility, the museum also offers events and programs to accommodate all audiences on a regular basis.

For any additional assistance during your visit, museum guides are available during all open hours. Whether it is explaining a piece of art, pointing out a beautiful detail, or directing you to a specific part of the museum, the guides are always available to help.

  • There is a 24-hour parking lot on the corner of 17th Street and 6th Avenue. In addition, there are parking garages along 17th Street going towards Union Square.

  • Monday: 11 a.m – 5 p.m.
  • Tuesday: Closed
  • Wednesday: 11 a.m – 7 p.m.
  • Thursday: 11 a.m – 5 p.m.
  • Friday: 11 a.m – 10 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday: 11 a.m – 6 p.m.

  • The museum is closed on Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Year’s Day.

  • The Café and the Shop are open during the museum hours.

  • Adults - $10.00
  • Seniors 65+ - $5.00
  • Students 13+ - $5.00
  • Children (12 and younger) - Free
  • Museum members - Free
  • Gallery admission is free every Friday from 6-10 p.m.
  • Gallery admission is free for seniors (65 and older) on the first Monday of every month.
